What is PokerToast?
A study tool for mixed-game poker: a HORSE equity calculator (Research), practice tables against bots (the Bot Lab) with a solver review of your decisions, and a daily solver-graded spot. There is no real-money play and nothing to win: PokerToast is for studying, not gambling.

US dollars. Payments go through Stripe: we never see your card number. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Yearly plans get a reminder email at least 30 days before each renewal, monthly plans once a year. Full details: Terms of Service.
What is the Founding 100?
The first 100 subscribers get 40% off their first year, and that price is kept for the whole first year: on a monthly plan, 40% off the first 12 monthly payments; on a yearly plan, 40% off the first yearly payment. If you switch from monthly to yearly during your Founding year, that yearly payment also gets 40% off. After that the normal price applies. It is applied automatically at checkout while places remain (the Plans screen shows how many are left), the same for everyone, and it stays with the account that subscribed. It is given once per player (cancel and subscribe again later and the normal price applies) and can't be combined with other promotion codes.
How do I cancel?
Any time, in a couple of clicks: log in, open Plans and press Manage subscription (Stripe's customer portal), then Cancel plan. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for, then moves to Free. You won't be charged again, and your hands and reviews are kept.
Can I get a refund?
Yes: if you're not happy, email contact@pokertoast.com within 14 days of your first payment (or of a yearly renewal) for a full refund, no questions asked. After that, payments are not refundable and cancelling stops future charges.
I answered the player survey. What is my thank-you code?
Everyone who sends the player survey gets the same thank-you, whatever they answered and with nothing to buy: a code for one extra free month on top of your first PokerToast subscription. It is shown once on the thank-you page (we keep only a scrambled copy), works for 12 months, once, one per account. After you subscribe, email it to us and we'll add the month. Lost it? Email us the day and time you sent the survey.
What is "the solver", and how accurate are its numbers?
For each game we trained a computer strategy for heads-up limit play (two players; for some spots also three-handed), using counterfactual regret minimization (CFR), the standard method behind poker solvers: the program plays itself millions of times and keeps shifting toward the plays that would have done better. To make that possible, similar hands are grouped together, and after training we measure what each play is worth (its EV) by playing many more hands with the finished strategy.
So every solver number is an estimate: very good for the spots it learned, less exact where hands are grouped or the sample is small (pages show how many hands a number rests on where it matters). Most published advice is for full-ring games; our numbers are for heads-up unless a page says otherwise. Use them to study, never during a real-money game.
What do you do with my data?
In short: we keep what the tools need (your email, username, a one-way hash of your password, the hands you play, your answers) to run your account and show your reviews. No ads, no ad or analytics trackers, and we never sell your data. Your internet address is used to stop abuse and, in memory only, to count daily visits; it is never stored for that. Card details stay with Stripe. You can see, correct or delete your data (delete your account yourself in your profile). The full version: Privacy Policy.
