How it works

The calculator deals the rest of the cards thousands of times and counts how often each hand wins or ties. Cards you leave empty for an opponent are dealt at random. Equity is your share of the pot: a win counts 1, a tie counts a fraction.

Texas Hold'em equity

Choose your two hole cards, an optional flop, turn and river, and up to five opponents. A classic example: pocket aces against pocket kings wins about 81% of the time before the flop.

Omaha equity

Omaha players hold four cards and must use exactly two of them with three from the board, so hands run much closer than in Hold'em. Enter your four cards and see how they hold up.

Omaha 8 (Omaha Hi-Lo) equity

The pot splits between the best high hand and the best qualifying low (five cards ranked eight or lower, using two hole cards and three board cards). The results show your high and low shares separately, and how often no low appears.

Seven Card Stud equity

Pick the street, enter all the cards you hold and the up cards each opponent shows. Their hidden cards are dealt at random from the cards left in the deck.

Stud 8 (Stud Hi-Lo) equity

Like Seven Card Stud, but half the pot goes to the best qualifying eight-or-better low. A good low draw with live cards can be worth a lot of equity, and the split view shows how much comes from each half.

Razz equity

In Razz the lowest hand wins: straights and flushes do not count and the ace is low, so A-2-3-4-5 is the best hand. Try A-2-3 against a king showing to see how big a favourite a three-card wheel start is.
